Recently, a delegation from Gokstad Academy (Norway), accompanied by representatives from the Norwegian Consulate, conducted a strategic working session at the Institute of International Education (IEI) Institude – Van Lang University. This official visit marks a significant milestone in establishing a practical training model designed to standardise the digital competencies of Vietnam’s young workforce according to European reference frameworks.

Strategic Alignment in Educational Vision

The selection of Van Lang University as a strategic partner is rooted in a shared educational philosophy: a commitment to practice-centered learning and market-driven outcomes. Witnessed by Ms. Mette Møller – the Norwegian Consul in Ho Chi Minh City – Gokstad Academy is dedicated to providing intensive training solutions that effectively bridge the gap between academic theory and the rigorous demands of global enterprises.

Core Strategic Objectives:

  • Applied Curriculum Transfer: Focusing on high-demand sectors such as IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, and Project Management. The curriculum is co-developed by industry experts to ensure maximum relevance and real-world applicability.

  • International Accreditation & Standardisation: By integrating the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) and NOKUT standards, the programme facilitates seamless credit transfer and global recognition of student qualifications.
